حمزة يفوز بالمركز الأول في مسابقة مبادرة المشروعات الخضراء الذكية

تمكن أ.د. محمد حمزة الأستاذ بكلية الثروة السمكية بالجامعة من الفوز بالمركز الأول بمسابقة مبادرة المشروعات الخضراء الذكية التي تتم برعاية فخامة السيد الرئيس / عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس الجمهورية، وقد تسلم د.حمزة درع التكريم أمس من دولة أ.د/ مصطفى مدبولي رئيس مجلس الوزراء بحضور أ.د. رانيا المشاط وزير التخطيط والتنمية الاقتصادية والتعاون الدولي بالعاصمة الإدارية.
وبهذه المناسبة فقد وجه أ.د. أشــــرف حنيجــــل رئيس جامعة السويس التهنئة للدكتور محمد حمزة، مؤكدًا على أن هذا الفوز تأتي ليكون نقطة مضيئة للجامعة أسهمت بشكل كبير في رفع اسم جامعة السويس عاليًا في مختلف المحافل، وأشار “رئيس الجامعة” الى أن مبادرة المشروعات الخضراء الذكية تعد مثالًا على قدرة جهود الدولة المصرية على التعامل بفاعلية مع تغير المناخ وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة.
كما أوضح سيادته أن “د.حمزة” قد تقدم بمشروع ضمن فئة المشروعات غير الهادفة للربح، بعنوان “التفريخ والإنتاج الاقتصادي لأنواع خيار البحر المهددة بالانقراض” حيث تمكن المشروع من الفوز على مستوى المحافظة، ثم تم التصعيد للمنافسة مع حوالي 5600 مشروع على مستوى الجمهورية، وتمكن من حصد المركز الأول على مستوى الجمهورية.
جدير بالذكر أن الأهداف الرئيسة للمبادرة تدور حول تناول قضية تغير المناخ بطريقة عملية وتوطين العمل المناخي. من خلال تنفيذ مشروعات خضراء ومستدامة، حيث تسعى المبادرة إلى التصدي للتحديات البيئية الملحة التي تواجه مصر، وتعتمد المبادرة أسلوب التطوير المستمر لأنشطتها لتوسعة نطاق تأثيرها ونشر رسالتها، وتأكيد اشتراك كل الفئات في منصة العمل المناخي، لذا يأتي التركيز على الاستعانة بالاكاديميين من وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، وقد تميزت المشروعات المقدمة بالتنوع حيث تأتي قطاعات الزراعة المستدامة والطاقة وإدارة المخلفات وتقلقل الانبعاثات من أهم المشروعات التي لاقت اهتمام المبادرة.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hamza, a professor at the Faculty of Fisheries at the university, has won first place in the Smart Green Projects Initiative competition, which is held under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Dr. Hamza received the honorary shield yesterday from Prime Minister Prof. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, at the New Administrative Capital.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, congratulated Dr. Mohamed Hamza, emphasizing that this victory represents a bright milestone for the university, significantly contributing to raising the name of Suez University in various forums. The University President also highlighted that the Smart Green Projects Initiative serves as a prime example of Egypt’s ability to effectively address climate change and promote sustainable development.
He further explained that Dr. Hamza submitted a project under the non-profit projects category, titled “Hatchery and Economic Production of Endangered Sea Cucumber Species”. The project first secured first place at the governorate level, then advanced to compete against approximately 5,600 projects nationwide, ultimately winning first place at the national level.
It is worth noting that the primary goals of the initiative focus on addressing climate change in a practical manner and localizing climate action through the implementation of green and sustainable projects. The initiative seeks to tackle Egypt’s pressing environmental challenges while continuously developing its activities to expand its impact and spread its message. A key aspect of this approach is engaging all societal sectors in climate action, with a strong emphasis on academic involvement from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The submitted projects were distinguished by their diversity, covering key sectors such as sustainable agriculture, energy, waste management, and emission reduction, which received particular attention from the initiative.
